Our first visit to Pearl Kitchen tonight for a early dinner and wow wow wow! The tastiest food we've had for a long time, great staff, very cool vibes and amazing food! Heading back in the morning for breakfast.

I would come give it another chance, but I wasn't overly impressed given the rave reviews. One of the only places where no effort was put into the presentation for my coffee (just a blob of milk), and I found the waffle portion pretty small for the price. While that was nicely presented, the waffle and toppings were all kind of unpleasantly lukewarm instead of a hot waffle with cold or warm toppings. Cafe is loud and busy even in the early morning.

Although Pearl Kitchen is only about 3km from home, regrettably I had not been there for over 3 years. I guess that is down to there being a few options locally. Had lunch there recently. Service was good. Food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The only downside was feeling rushed from an obvious rush to clean up, reorganise and close for the afternoon.

What a great cafe worth great food! Their egg bennie was delicious with homemade sauce. Their big breakfast was out of this world! Hubby gobbled up their homemade bacon n the steak that goes with it.Service was good. Their iced latte and flat white was one of the best ones we've had. Smooth, creamy and strong flavour. Table staff was friendly and helpful. We felt just like a local. Thanks, Pearl Kitchen!

Good service and food. Great for brunch. Loved the brownie and drinks. Coffee is fab. The scrambled eggs was just a bit too salty for my liking but otherwise awesome.

I ate here twice in a week, once for brunch, the other for dinner. The food is good though I was disappointed both at the brunch (corn fritters) and dinner (pizza) though my friends all enjoyed their meals. I can happily recommend the coffee (oat flat white) and the rose wine at dinner.

Went here for brunch on New Year’s Day and definitely one of the best places we’ve ever eaten in NZ. The eggs bene are amazing, and the waffles are incredible. Definitely worth a short trip from the Mount, and no excuses not to visit if you’re in Papamoa!
