Carnmore Hotel Takapuna
The rooms were not clean the toilet had black stuff underneath. The room service team was never on time to clean the rooms and also didn’t do a good job. Dirty carpets and leave the rubbish there. Outside the building has so many mold and stairs to rooms are disgusting. The hygiene and cleaning is horrible. Pool was contaminated. Overall service was bad! The staff talk rudely when I asked them questions politely. Absolutely do not recommend.

What a hidden gem! Very modern room with a brand new bathroom. Really liked the colour scheme and nice to have a wee balcony. I imagine parking could be problematic if hotel full.

I really enjoyed staying at this Hotel the bed was super comfortable and they were really good about my needs!! Just a couple of things of note the fridge was quite icy and the phone wasn’t working! May help to put a bottle opener in the rooms!! The Shower was So Good!!! Would be so fantastic if you guys could add Sky to your hotel too!

Carnmore Hotel Takapuna
Very clean hotel with lots of natural light in the room. The towels and linens were spotless.We were on the third floor and enjoyed the patio that allowed fresh air in the room. The kitchenette was nicely set up Front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. The location was good and central to areas we wanted to be.

We had a great long-term stay at Carnmore. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating with changes in our schedule. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and bus transportation.

Carnmore Hotel Takapuna
Our family stayed here for a week in Jan 23 and also booked rooms for 3 family/guests for one weekend. This was reserved 6 months in advance and the communication with Ajin, the manager was excellent. Carnmore met all our expectations and more and staff were always helpful and obliging. All our guests and family staying enjoyed the accommodation and facilities. Very convenient, great coffee near by and easily walkable to Takapuna Beach. It reminds me of a fine boutique hotel.Thank you Ajin and team for a wonderful stay over a very special family weekend.

We had a great stay, modern rooms with comfy beds and wonderful air con in the hot summer.We had family arriving from the UK to join us and staff were very helpful when their flight was delayed.Everything you need in a room to be clean and comfortable and enjoy Takapuna at your doorstep.

Easy to find and get to. Good off street parking. Room good size and comfortable with Balcony. Well equipped with essentials. My room was quite noisy with road noise. Bed was quite firm.

Nice big room with good comfortable bed, great shower etc. But the windows were full of cobwebs, and there's a fair bit of road noise, being on a very busy road. Overall the place is a little bit shabby.

Carnmore Hotel Takapuna
Me and my husband stayed 4 nights and also I got a room for my blind nan and friend who visited from England. We were very well taken care of and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. At a very reasonable price point of $180-230 a night this place exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable beds, flat screen TV, good wifi and aircon and also my favorite dressing gowns!It has a kettle, microwave and fridge for basic needs and so close to takapuna central to take advantage of all the amazing eateries. Also minutes from the beach. This hotel has been renovated and I think they have done a great job and I can really empathize with the stress of taking on such a big project. We would deffiantely stay again and recommend visiting family to stay here! Some of the reviews are a little harsh on here and you have to remember this is not a $500 a night city hotel this is a very reasonable clean and tidy stay near takapuna Beach.
