I was very impressed with the doctor I saw ( 14/10/2022). She was. very thorough and explained her diagnosis and why she prescribed what she did. I also found the receptionist to be very friendly. Was a bit bemused at the cost.. as a gold card holder, I was charged $125 .. I was told that the small print on the fees board explained that I would be charged that as my regular GP is not in the Dunedin area.Good to know this place is here for what I visit family again.

Utter rudeness. Plain and simple there is no standard or communication in this place. They need to firstly get someone more friendly on the counter who knows the art of customer service and communication skills. To ask about wait time and be told to leave if we can't wait is just plain STUPID. Being charged consultation fees up-front is not a way to operate at a medical centre. Unprofessional service. Over priced fees.

After pay the fee, I waited for three hours. If the doctor is good, it's okay. It's worth waiting a little longer. But the doctor only saw me for two minutes and didn't give me any medication. He also told me that he couldn't help me. If my infection becomes severe after more than a month, come back Again???!!!!?Just ask me go home and rest. Very disappointing .Wasting my money and time.Never come back .

Reception was not good and contradicted each other. Was told to sit down and a nurse would see me soon, i asked if i could give them my details to get on the waiting list but was told i had to see a nurse first by one of the receptionists. After waiting for 20 mins and not being seen by a nurse, the other receptionist asked me if i had given my details yet which i had not, so i did that. They did not ask me any of the displayed questions about shortness of breath, chest pain etc but they asked other patients. I was experiencing those symptoms but they never asked. I then took a rat test and waited 2 hours. A nurse came over and did another rat test after i told her i had just had one and it was negative. I then saw the doctor who was ok, but didn’t actually tell me what was wrong with me, just prescribed me medication that i was not told how to take. would not recommend and will avoid going back here at all costs. the appointment also cost $95.

We saw a doctor at this clinic and were told the result from the swap they took would be back within 24-48 hours. We finally get a text 96 hours later to confirm that it is a bacterial infection and if more info is needed to ring the clinic. We do that. The receptionist tells us a nurse would ring back. That was 8:15am in the morning. By 5pm still nobody had called. Had rung during the day to check that they hadn't forgotten about us. We were given the expectation that someone would call soon. The patient in the mean time is rather poorly which was also conveyed to the receptionist. Opted to go to another doctor to get some traction. Had to pay the full fee again of course. Expectation management needs to urgently be improved there!

Receptionist was rude. I called ahead as advised by healthline clinician as I wasn't sure I could go in presenting with what may seem like covid symptoms. She answered and I began to speak she spoke over me and then said well if you let me finish" in a rude tone before I'd gotten out what I was calling about. Chill lady"

Maybe because it was Saturday 9pm and almost impossible to find nearby parking, but the waiting room was almost empty, and I was seen almost immediately. The doctor was very nice, efficient, and knew her stuff. I was out within 20 minutes and got the prescription filled at the adjacent urgent pharmacy.

I honestly don't know what all the negative reviews are about, I went here on a Tuesday morning just before 9 and was seen around 10ish. The doctor insisted on a RAT (fair enough considering my symptoms) but took a lot of time taking my symptoms, explaining my diagnosis, prescription etc... The receptionist was also nice and professional. In the time I was there I also saw them give a pillow to a kid who needed one and generally be helpful, the only issues I saw were from people who got snotty with them. I guess everyone's experience is different but I wouldn't let negative reviews put you off going, and yes its $128 if you aren't registered at one of their member clinics but its much easier than going to ED and for your health, its worth it.
