I avail myself of services provided by rural craftspeople whenever possible and Gregory Equine in Matamata were the latest happy result when I needed my favourite antique canvas and leather satchel reconditioned... not to mention there weren't any saddlers or leatherworkers left in Orcland willing to accept the commission... but that's precisely why my default setting for specialty work is to head out of town. On a very intricate stitch-and-replace they did an amazing job for a great price and the detailing was quite beautiful. I bet their regular customers for horse blankets and tack are faithful ones for exactly the same reasons. Very highly recommended.
