I have beautiful memories of Long Bay Beach I pretty much grew up on this beach in the 70s/80s.. I remember swimming all summer long and riding my horse on the beach and having so much fun there . I remember the homestead well and I'm sure I've been inside ❤️

Long bay is a amazing regional park. Lots of bbqs. Site's and a beautiful scenic beach. Vaughan homestead is a the far end.

House associated with the farm that used to exist on the land that is now part of Long Bay Regional Park. The history of the land prior to it being used as a farm for the Vaughn family is not disclosed. It would be useful if the history of this area didn't assume that history started when white people started acquiring the land.
