Two Rivers Ohakune
Every now and again you stay somewhere which is so special you want to go back again and again. This is one of those places. The location at the confluence of 2 rivers makes it relaxing enough to cure the most ardent insomniac and the views over the surrounding farmland to Mt Ruapehu are simply stunning. Chris was a fabulous host and went over and above to make us welcome and provide everything we needed. There's a fabulous little bush walk into town and the thoughtful hosts even provided a torch for the wander home before hopping into their spotless spa to end the day. Just perfect!

We had an awesome stay here over new years. Great views of the mountain and a lovely place to relax. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Amazing hosts who have thought of everything you'll need for your time at Two Rivers! Highly recommend staying here.Rachel & Ryan

“Hostess with the Mostest” - couldn’t have found a better place to stay as a couple. The host Chris was phenomenal in service, hospitality and friendliness. Great detailing +++Such as bread, milk, eggs, fruit, butter and more in the fridge. Private little paradise, close enough to town to walk but far enough away for quietness. The gorgeous sound of the river flowing past as you sat in the luxurious spa sipping your favorite wine. Can’t wait to return winter or summertime.

Thanks Chris for your amazing service! We just came from snowboarfing trip and loved the stay at Two Rivers as usual. This is our third time staying there. On rainy/windy days we went for hill walks and a drive to Taupo. You can also chill out watching Amazon Prime and Netflix. The restaurants in Ohakune are lovely, but the jams they provide are so good. Two Rivers rooms are so clean and has everything you need including drying wardrobe. Spa is also excellent.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at two rivers! Chris is a fabulous host and very helpful with plenty of recommendations locally. Our room was comfortable, peaceful and spotless, the breakfast although simple was perfect and really yummy! And the spa was a nice end to each day! Town and the bars and restaurants just a short stroll away.And a huge thanks Chris for posting my husbands brand new shirt he'd managed to leave behind too, much appreciated and we paid it forward by making a donation to the Cyclone Gabrielle fund. Thanks!

Lovely luxurious rooms with views. Warm and quiet. The Hot tub looked very inviting although we didn’t have time to partake. Chris is very welcoming and expect a professional reception. We would happily stay here again.

We really enjoyed our 1 night at Two Rivers Ohakune. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The shower with two different shower heads was amazing. Chris was very helpful with recommendations and booked a table for us at restaurant. We were very pleased with our stay :)

Chris was great too deal with from the get go! I asked questions regarding what we were hoping to do and he gave me some awesome suggestions!Will happily book here again, the spa was a real treat after a day on the mountain.Great attention to detail, very nice it’s just on the edge of town and walking distance or a 1min drive to any restaurant.Look forward too seeing you again at some stage. We loved our stay at Two Rivers Ohakune. Our host took time to show us around the property and gave us loads of information about activities to do in the area. Was super responsive to any questions and requests. We enjoyed the quiet surrounds and spa with mountain views. Easy walk to town on a beautiful trail next to the river. We'll be back!

Two Rivers Ohakune
A taste of luxury with snow capped mountain views. It felt like we were miles from anyone but we could enjoy a short walk to the town centre for dinner and all our activities! The room was modern, clean and quiet and the hot tub made for a relaxing evening with the sound of the river nearby. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast including toast and local jam, as well as fruit, cereal and prepped boiled eggs, so we could enjoy it at our leisure in our own outside area. Chris offered his local knowledge on both easy and more challenging walks, some cycle routes, and we had the climbing centre just 10min walk away.
