I was needing to replace a vehicle ignition and was looking at getting the barrel recoded to the existing keys. Had to get locks changed urgently so called Beveridge, the customer service over the phone was fantastic and prompt. JC was our locksmith who came to change our locks after hours, he was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Excellent experience using Beveridge Locksmiths. I lost my car key set needed the mobile service where they drive to your location. From the moment I rang reception, Maxine was incredibly helpful and friendly, and Danny the mobile manager was very professional, friendly and thorough. They had a young gentleman at my location and the job done within 3 hours. Pricing was fair and competitive as well. Terrible service ever. Amost a year ago, somebody made an attempt to steal my car but failed. But my car barrel was munted and plastic cover around the key barrel was damaged. So i claimed the insurance and i got the key barrel fixed from this lowerhutt locksmith here. But they said the hardware cover part will be delivered one or two month later from Japan. And they asked me to pay full price even tho the part has not been replaced. But i trusted them so i paid in full happily at that time. However, they never called me back with the part, so i had to call them several times and even visited the shop. But they said to me calling me back or kept saying the part has not been delivered. Man! It has been almost a year now. After I chased them several times, I realised this never gonna work. So I decided to get my car fixed from other shop and they fixed it within a week. I think they should refund for the part i paid already.I have raise this issue to my insurance compamy and now im thinking of taking an legal action. I could have just let this go but im doing this hoping no more people have the same experience that i have.

Great service from the moment I made the first phone call. Listened to what I needed, provided affordable (and much more suitable) alternatives, and it was no problem finding a time that suited to make the changes. Rory, the technician, was also great, again listening well, explaining things clearly, and throwing in some great value add, like better options for locking my front door. I have used Beverage Locksmiths before and was reasonably happy, but recently I got a lock replaced - probably the easiest and cheapest lock you could get which only cost $40, the total bill was $216, so $176 to get it installed and I'm only 10 minutes from their showroom - you decide if this is good value. If it wasn't for my health issues and if I knew what the install cost was going to be I would have tried to do it myself !!!I appreciate your reply, thank you. But as mentioned I have some health issues so self installation is problematic, what I didn't mention earlier was when I requested the service by phone, the woman was adamant she knew what type of lock it was, but when the locksmith turned up he said it was the wrong type of lock and would have order another and come back another time. The guy that did the job was great, but I feel I was charged extra having to get another lock when this wasn't my fault. Both visits, he wasn't there long at all.

We have used Beveridge Locksmiths twice over the past year and have been very impressed with their services. Really helpful with great communication and prompt service. Definitely recommend them. Cheers.

I would like to commend Alastair from Lower Hutt for taking the time to talk me through removing the lock off a cabin and bringing in store by using one in store to show me how never done that before he made it look and sound easy and it was , I even brought a second lock in which he was also able to sort out for me thank you the awesome service Alastair and taking the time to show me how really appreciate it.

Needed some new locks sorted for a couple of the doors in my house. Rory was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job.
