St Heliers Church & Community Centre

I was in a seminar in one of the back rooms,which was easily accessible. Seems to be plenty of different areas and things happening throughout the days I was there,but it didnt disturb what we were doing.

The church had been destroyed by a group of people making false complaints about our minister. The Presbytery failed at every turn and failed to support the Congregation. I would not go that church, as it now is at the end. After 100 years of family involvement, a community is destroyed..

I had the pleasure of renting a space at this community center for a sound healing session, and I am thrilled with how everything turned out. The staff went above and beyond to assist me in selecting the ideal room from the numerous options available. The space I rented was perfect for my requirements, and the tranquil surroundings were a fantastic addition to the session's ambiance. The minister Pauline and Stan are amazing. They are there to offee support and time to their people and always go out of their way to help.There services on Sunday are informative and I highly enjoy them. They bring a lot of wisdom and knowledge

Parked outside on the road and some old lady opened her car door right into my van. She had parked on the grass verge.

A five star community Centre, top equal that I've seen and has a daycare to send your children to. Very well managed with a friendly spirit.Thanks Si

The former Pastors; Stan and Pauline Stewart were among the most humble of leaders.... I saw Pauline with a helper and her husband Stan with us as they baptised 7 people. Pauline stood waist high in her robe with the current of the waves just enough to stand up in...then a helping went in to help her to help imerse each person...I thought what a courageous woman with her bold declaration for Christ in a public place...the busy St Helliers Beach front at midday. The occasion was a priviledge to witness, seeing 7 precious souls devoting their lives to Jesus as their saviour. I will forever remember that precious occasion.When I visited this church several times..we got to hand out heaps of watermelon to the 'Round the Bays' runners after their run, this culminated after the church service...we still had plenty left over...the groups of runners loved it...I thought..how cool is that....I hope this can remain a church serving event in the future.

Attended Wriggle and Rhyme with 2yr old granddaughter and 8 month old grandson. 8mth old LOVED it. 2yr old a wee bit too old.

It was wonderful to see family there.
