Was in Hamilton for the weekend when my car started showing a warning on the dashboard. I took it into Clarksun after googling and seeing good reviews. They were very helpful and were able to fit it in at short notice. Also continued to work on my car even afterhours. Very pleased with the overall service!!

After having left my bike garaged and basically unloved for 5 years, i decided i wanted to renew the relationship that had blossomed years before. She needed some TLC and some professional know how to bring her back to her best. After considering some highly recommended motorcycle mechanics i decided to approach Chris from Clarksun Automotive. Chris has done vehicle work for me in recent times, i ve always found him to be honest, professional and meticulous. He was enthused about working on the bike so with his help i transported her to his garage. Without going into the finer details, i ve just returned from a glorious ride, shes running like a dream, and shes looking hot, the bike is immaculate, someone has spent time detailing her, its gonna be a hard act to follow, I couldn t be happier, Thanks to Chris and the team at Clarksun Automotive. Came by 15 minutes before closing time to see if I could book car in to change blown front light bulb. Friendly man called Chris had a look at the problem and said he could change it then and there. 10 minutes later all fixed. So pleased and grateful for doing this when he was closing up for the day. Very cost effective and happy I called in. Would definitely go back with service like this. Thank you.

Chris here at Clarksun Automotive is Great!I Failed my WOF on brake pads and bulbs, rung him and he could fit me in same day and beat the pricing of a competitor. Chris worked past closing time that Saturday he really knows his stuff and is easy to speak with.

Amazing experience. Needed coils and spark plug changed. Was able to get my car fixed on the day after booking it in in the morning g. Really fair pricing and quick turn around. Would definitely recommend and will use you guys again.

Can't recommend Clarksun Automotive enough! I have endless car problems and have been to many mechanics but Clarksun Automotive are without a doubt the best. A couple times I have turned up without booking and every time they have done the work right then and there on the car. They tell you exactly what's wrong with the car and if it's worth fixing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and special mention to Chris who is an amazing mechanic!

Dropped my son's car off to Clarkson automotive on a trailer ( still going ) for a diagnosis thinking something was wrong with the transmission.Chris told us it was the sparkplugs and coils , so we agreed on the work. We got a phn call saying he'd done the job but car won't even start now. Without our permission he sent our car to another person as our car had blown his computer " told us we needed the ecu replaced and also tried to charge us for work done by other shop. 3months later we came 2 an agreement and I picked up my son's car on a trailer

Had my ball joint replaced here today and had the most amazing experience! These guys made me feel super comfortable and Chris did a great job on my car.Great conversation, great price and all around great mechanics! Will be my regular place now! :)

I Want to thank Chris and Rowan for their tireless work on my van, saving both my van and my New Zealand trip. I was on route to Wellington, leaving the country in a few days and about to sell my van the next day when my gearbox started leaking oil and making suspicious noises.Even though I stopped by in the morning without an appointment, Chris had a look and immediately outlined possible causations clearly, and what could be possible courses of action. Since it was a van from 1986, a replacement gearbox or parts were extremely difficult to find. The team at Clarksun did the impossible and by going through the effort of calling everybody they could possibly think of they found all the parts & clearly communicated along the way what would be the best options to pursue,Chris and Rowan stayed up WAY beyond their working hours and put in so much effort to get me on the road again to Wellington & make my flight on time, for which I am very grateful. Thanks to them I made it to Wellington just in time to make arrangements for catching my flight in Auckland the next day!Therefore I would like to thank them both for their work & also moreover their hospitality during my time there and give Clarksun automotive my fullest recommendation. They are a lovely people, make a great team that cares about their customers and very transparent about their work & pricing. Thanks again and greetings from the Netherlands!
