Great spot to watch the cricket. Make sure you bring a chair to sit on the grass and enjoy. Lots food choices via food trucks brought in for the game. No wait for drinks and lots of toilets. Great venue for night and day cricket

Visited bay oval as cricket match was being played between Indian and New Zealand. It was our first time experience seeing match being played on ground like this, where we have to seat on grass.Ground is very good and we enjoyed the every moment of the match.

Such a wonderful space to watch cricket with open skies, lush green grass... just makes a spectacular view of the game, the whole atmosphere and the sunset. One of the great venues to relax and enjoy the game of cricket. I hope no one comes up with an idea of making it a planned seated space.

Super easy to find, to park, lovely security staff on at the NZ v Bangladesh test. Bit gutted that there was no info about not taking canned fizzy or your own water in but no dramas. Loved the set up of the food trucks, portaloo’s and it was just a lovely grounds to watch some cricket.

It's a very small ground with no stands or shades. It was very difficult to stay under the sun for half a day and watch the match. Nice views in the night. Not much capacity of the stadium. Has decent parking around the ground.

Beautiful day, great venue, super company watching cricket. Nice way to relax provided you don't mind what the outcome of the cricket is.
