Gone really down hill lately. Fried rice pork meat is really fatty with big chunks of fatty meat and dish is a lot more oiler. Won't be back...

I've been to a few of these places. The food is generally pretty tasty. The service is always pretty average and the atmosphere is standard. I feel like Noodle Canteen could achieve great things with having a better 'gimmick'.

Went here today and was shocked that the meals I ordered didn't have the vegs in it that usually are there.also ordered the honey chicken on rice that was not the best as the rice was very wet and glugy. The sauce was bearly there on the noodles..noodles were over cooked to a slimy texture.. use to love this place was in my top five for meals. not anymore

I went to get Curry Laksa and ordered spicy, the guy at the counter confirmed with me spicy and I said yes. I get my Laksa and asked if it was spicy and he said no, I said I asked for spicy and he said I will just add the spice on top and did that in front of me. It was disgusting to see that these people are going against the food and hygiene and are cleared to operate. He asked me what I wanted and I said cook it again and he just put it back on the hot wok a for 15 second's and gave it back to me. It cost nearly $18 and I am thinking that either the food and hygiene inspectors are making money or simply these guy's. Will this ever change???

Been coming to Noodle Canteens for years, but had not been to one lately. So in Feilding the other day while passing through I had a Singapore Noodle meal and loved it. So talked my senior manager, the wife, into a takeout noodle dinner from the Upper Hutt shop. Just bloody excellent again. We called our order through went down and it was ready and waiting. Both our meals were delicious. Friendly helpful service from genuine Asian cooks and servers. You can't beat the Noodle Canteen at any of there numerous locations.
