Took 2visitors here for dinner on Sunday night. All 3 of us had lamb shanks. Such delicious food not a scrap left on our plates. Best lamb shanks you'll ever eat. Succulent and so tender. Well done Wilson's always guarantee good quality food.

Stayed the night in a double room, good old west coast charm. Had a meal, dinner was great, good service and a great host.

We were traveling through for a work trip and was looking for a local pub to stop at. Look no further than Wiksons Hotel! We had an excellent evening playing pool with a jug of Speights. The Lamb shank was massive and delicious, I really can't recommend this place enough, it's a great spot for a casual dinner and a beer!

The decor was dirty and rundown, the food was shocking, my husband ordered roast beef and it was so tough it was inedible, his beer flat but the barmaid refused to change it for a fresh glass. Will never go back

What a hidden gem. Arrived Reefton looking for accommodation and town was booked out due to Distillery AGM. Got hold of Wilson's and they accommodatede No problems In fact they were empty. 11 rooms at bargain prices - all very neat and tidy, shared bathrooms were good, pub meals are superb. Cost me $77 for room , meal and several beers ! Staff are awesome, and so quiet.I cannot recommend this highly enough !!

Went here for a dinner on our last night, got served the wrong meal and were told it was what was ordered (it wasn't at all as the meal we were given was something I don't like to eat at all). No replacement offered, my partner ended up with both serves of meat while I ate a $31 plate of vegetables and gravy. Won't be eating here again

We asked a few locals where we should go for evening dining and without a doubt they all said Wilsons! Highly recommend the crumbed camembert entree and pork belly main....although you definately won't go hungry if you choose to skip the entree! Great service, fab food and very friendly management/staff.
