Taco Bell Eastgate
Hilarious, drove all the way from city center only to realize they have somehow decided to close 40min earlier than the posted hours, how can this be acceptable? And when we saw people chilling in there and wanted to double check if they are still opening, they got so rude and didn’t even bother to explain with no regard of quality or standard of service, very unprofessional and absolutely not the best way to keep a franchise business. Disappointed

I went to Taco Bell on its opening day and bought the Taco Taster box. Nothing really appealed except the Cinnamon Chips which I enjoyed very much. On Tuesday I saw a deal for a Beefy Cheese Burrito and fries so I made my second trip in to order the Burrito and some Cinnamon Chips. The Chips had been discontinued, and the shell of the Burrito was so undercooked it was almost runny.That's it for me, I'm not going back.I realize tastes differ but the soggy Burrito and the VERY long delay in the queue with only two cars in front of me (Google Timeline says it was 26 minutes) is enough for me to call it quits.

The restaurant is clean and looks good. I haven't had taco bell for a while, since I lived in Sydney. The food, ironically quite bland if your used to eating good Mexican food. I must say the fries are pretty darned good though!! It just how I remember it and my family wanted to try it as they hadn't had it before. I don't think we will be back, fast fried food really isn't my thing. I'm sure people will love it. Just not to my taste. Nice staff and good service, which would have been difficult because the drive through line was 1.5 hours wait and the wait in the restaurant was 30 mins.

Great service despite how busy it was. We were given our food after only waiting five minutes and it was delicious. The staff are kind and they keep the place clean too.

Ordered the beef cheesy burrito combo and the nachos. They forgot to give me my drink. Unfortunately, I didn’t check until I have left. Also ordered guacamole with the nachos. That’s a $1 for a tiny bit of guacamole. Fries are hot but not crunchy.

The portion is really small, but l like the atmosphere here, select your favorite music with the refilled cola, I would enjoy seating here for a while!

Went here for the first time since I last had Taco Bell in the USA. I have to say it was good. It reminded of the Taco Bell I always had. The prices are a little high but that's how it is with fast food here. There were also long wait times but this is the first Taco Bell in the South Island so that would be expected. Overall great place to get some great food

Was quiet when I went through but still took awhile, but I guess that means freshly made food. The chicken burrito was spicier than I expected and the quesadilla milder than I expected. Was all nice and hot, lettuce and tomato were crunchy.Chips are good when they are fresh too - we had some via uber eats once and they just didn't survive the journey nicely.Not fatty and gross like I feel like I always hear about American taco bell.Cost a little more than I thought it would, but I did add an extra thing.

Staff were awesome, very friendly and was more that happy to accommodate my requests. The ambience and design of the restaurant was really vibrant. The food for the price that you're paying however was average in my opinion. Flavours were OK but nothing to write home about, portion sizes were so so, all for higher than what I would probably normally pay for.
