Not a very nice visit today, my husband and I were discussing what we would like, he wanted a toasted sandwich and I told him to go and find somewhere to sit and as he walked off the chinese lady at the till called out oi" or "boy" could not tell which asking if he wanted salad or chips

A winning formula here.This quality cafe in its Palmers Garden Centre setting presents quality food with a smile. My Avo mash dish was delicious and the coffee was great.

Lovely food. I had creamy mushrooms and my partner had smashed avo on toast.Everything was very flavoursome, the portions were good and the food was our very quick, but it would have been worth the wait anyway. I really enjoyed their house made iced lemon ginger honey.

Asked for a soy iced coffee and she brought it out with ice cream and cream. Asked for her to please make it without ice cream as I'm dairy free and she brought a new one with white bits in it. Tried to return it and she said no. Terrible service.

Very comfortable and spacious seating indoor and out.Outdoor area looks out to Palmers plants for sale and is genuinely lovely.Reasonable pricing.Coffee was nice, carrot cake was ok.Will definitely be coming back and getting something from the savoury menu which smelled amazing.

Another cool Sunday morning. The sun is still rising and the temperature is perfect. The birds are entertaining us in their garden surroundings, chirping for our attention hoping for a small morsel. Coffee and cake,Abiter of taste. The Staff offer a warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend.

I ordered a pumpkin soup $12 plus 2 garlic toast $2.90. It come out fast & was pipping hot! I think it was a packet soup. Theres bibles around for light reading? Thanks

The cabinet food looked appealing...but that's where it ends.Chicken mushroom pie arrived lukewarm. Reheating requested. It arrived back lukewarmish. Fearing the worst, it was set aside.Tasted the coffee - hot but burnt. Mentioned to barista who looked at me strangely. I backtracked. I felt like I was from Auckland!Date & orange scone (my fave) looked perfect but too heavy on the baking powder. A couple of Pascals jet planes couldn't get rid of the bitter taste!I'm sure we won't be missed if we never return.
