nice free campsite, well suited for backpackers. would easy fit 5 vans/cars , small tents . but not big tents. there is a fire pit in the middle of the campground , so bring some dry wood and marsh mellows to roast! gets muddy after heavy rain. there is a toilet (basic) and its by a river with some swimming holes. beautiful drive if your coming from Mangaweka way

Didn't make it to the park road and bridge washed away might be a few months before en one can get out there the photo is a km away of River and it's a shock
