Love this bike shop! Andrew is a bike surgeon! He fixed something I broke and he was out of his way helpful. I went away with a bike setup to carry two dogs.

Such friendly and helpful service! Andrew went above and beyond to answer all my questions and help me find exactly what I needed.

We were passing through Kapiti when I noticed my wifes e bike back wheel was loose. Were recommended to take to Biking Mad. Andrew went out of his way to help us & pulled the hub apart & repaired. He didnt charge much at all. We are very grateful for his help & highly recommend him.

Andrew goes out of his way to be helpful

I live in Ohau (near Levin) but decided to order a road bike from Biking Mad in Raumati, because I had read such great things about them on social media. Everyone was saying that their service is amazing and it’s absolutely true! Andrew was very helpful both over the phone and in person. He talked me through my options for what sort of bike I would need for an indoor trainer, and ordered me a road bike that was within my price range. It didn’t take long for it to arrive, and once it was in store he got it all set up, and even set up my Wahoo Kickr (indoor trainer) for me. I had no idea what I was doing, so it was great to have someone get it all ready and adjusted for my bike. He then explained clearly what I needed to do when I got home, so that I was able to start using it safely on my own. (I was happy that I didn’t have to wait for my partner to get home to attach it!) Andrew also set up the bike rack and tied the bike on for me, taking special care to put a piece of soft packing around one part so that it wouldn’t get scratched. I really appreciated that level of caring and attention to detail. And I’m loving my new bike and training indoors! Thanks heaps! :)

They told my son, who was buying a new combination bike lock (to replace an old one that the code had been lost for) that he should, “Stop looking at your phone all the time and you might remember your code.”Umm, what? Who are you guys? Social commentators or retailers?It really weirded him out. Comments like that are not ‘funny’ they’re plain rude especially young people on their own. I bet you wouldn’t have said that to my face, but you felt free to dis my son off hand :(Tip: keep your trolling comments to private online forums, not to your customers faces!Promise: We won’t be back…. (But will be sharing his experience with local friends.)
