Pretty disappointed after visiting excited to buy some fresh mince and have a yummy dinner only to be left with choosing from 5 trays of very brown and old looking mince. Sad...

I witnessed a rude staff member today as I was waiting in line to be served. She repeatedly told a customer to give the lady in front some privacy and space knowing clearly she had no room in front of her as there was a trolley and I was behind her trying to put my items on the counter to be scanned. I could see the young girl with her baby how busy, tired & over it she was as she was trying to step back as well as tend to her baby aswell as holding her items. Kindness really does go a long way staff doing customer service should know that. She did not acknowledge her in the line at all & repeatedly told her to move back and give the lady in front some space she clearly had enough space I truly believe it’s because she had a different ethnicity which was maori just the looks she was giving the poor young lady. Please be kind you never know what someone is going through.

Nice cool parking, pleasant staff wide aisles with good variety. I LOVE THE PLANT BASED FROZEN SECTION but please keep up the stock. some aisles with no price tickets twice in two weeks

Kid's Apple Mac was stolen they weren't supervising the bags in the morningEdit: they removed their response to this review and continue to tell people to put their bags at the front and their still not being supervised

Very clean & tidy. Though all the staff seem unhappy to be there - never saw a smile, just very neutral.The layout is better than the Warkworth one, but I like the alternative section of Albany so long bay would be second for me as a New World store to visit if needed.

Not impressed with nw. All there self serve machines are card only. No cash! Only 2 tellers on if you want to use cash. But big trolleys full ahead if me. Will shop elsewhere from now on

At last you had my 4pk of gingerbeer on special.pity it was on top shelf out of reach to get two..please bring down a shelf as its too dangerous to reach safely
