Holy moly bananas are cheap here. I literally come here every week just for bananas - they're less than half the supermarket price and sold at perfect ripeness. It's a modern marvel that simultaneously flies in the faces of inflation, a cost-of-living crisis, and a supermarket duopoly. The service always seems friendly, too.

I get my german bun (coconut filled donut/bun) and lambbun fix from here, they also have panipopo (coconut cream bun) and pineapple pie (pie fala/half moon pie) and always have the best sweet yellow bananas. Family and friends been going there since before and after the earth quake.German bun in profile picture

The shop keeper here was amazing. I went to buy a small chocolate bar and after getting this inadvertently left my diary behind. Within 10 minutes he rang me on his phone and asked mhe if I left my diary at his shop. Of course yes I said and went and collected the diary.Superb service so I really recommend we support businesses that help out as quickly and efficiently as he did. Thanks!
