Don't be fooled by the outside and branding of this little place. It is just great food. Asian dishes with all the flavors you expect. A little Gem on Jackson street.We walked through looking for something different and we ended up having a great dinner. Will come back to try some more.

We've returned to The Lucky Cat a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food and service are top-notch, with a standout being the Vampire Chicken Wings. On our latest visit I opted for the pho and bravely (or perhaps unwisely) added all of the chillies provided - it was a scorcher but still delicious. Highly recommended!

Overall a tasty meal. We were seated out the back, and felt a little forgotten once the food was served. The massamam lamb shank curry does not come with a lamb shank, it is only a few pieces of lamb shank and the curry is quite soupy and a bit sweeter than I prefer. The beef pho broth was tasty. Meal was a little on the expensive side.

Absolutely loved it. So glad the Owner/chef decided to open in Petone. Everything we had on the menu was excellent. Couldn't fault it one bit. Cocktails are great too. Serving staff were great, Fast and efficient. Book in advance, this place is pumping

With so many places in Petone to choose from this is a must!Quick and amazing service. Food is delicious fresh and flavorsome.With guidance of the barstaff tried some of the best cocktails I've had in Wellington. Not to mention so well priced.I'll be back soon rather then later.

The Lucky Cat is an awesome place for lunch. We got the $16 lunch and it's really worth your money. It was a good quantity, range of food, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! The restaurant atmosphere was nice and the staff friendly. This place is perfect!

Their menu has decent selection of appetisers and main course dishes, we tried bunch of stuff and was pleasantly surprised with the fast service. Top notch service by the staff!

Spare ribs great. Chicken poppers great. We would go back just for those. I think the Pho was good if you like Pho. I realize it's not for me. Flavorful I just don't like the flavor. We will be back.
