Do not hire a bike from anywhere else. I arrived as they opened and presented them with a challenge. They could not have been more helpful and, apart from great service, solved my non-bike related problem. Absolute rock stars.

Excellent customer service by Lucy H. Opened the package so I could test the product and was super nice and friendly. Much better customer service than the bike shop across the road!! Will be back.

I went to 4 bike shops in Taupo to buy a bike and not one had even half the customer service level of Pack and Pedal.The sevice from Neil was superb and he made sure the bike we chose was the right one for our daughter.The whole family came back the next day to buy the bike, and the rest of the staff were just as great as Neil. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Very helpfull. Simple request for polarised sunglasses to fish. $40 NZ without the $300 fancy name pair from elsewhere.

We recently spent time planning for our next bikes moving to electric, with great staff. If you had a staff photo space on your website for current staff it would be great as we could check a couple of things to help our decision making with a staff member who changed our thinking about possibilities. The staff member who not only scored a try, but nailed a conversion was able to get a certain person to try an electric bike that actually fitted her.

I popped into Pack &Pedal to get some advice on cycle needs as I'm doing the Ironman next year. Hendon went above and beyond with info and advice. I got introduced the the bike mechanic and other staff that worked there. The shop is locally owned, and you get that good old fashioned service. Hendon took the time to chat to me and organized a bike service.Fantastic that these guys are open 7 days a week and until 6pm week days.I will be returning for my cycling needs for sure!!

We found our Thule cycle locking bar knob no longer worked so stopped off in Taupo to enquire about seeking a replacement. Shortly after leaving the shop the Team rang to advise they may be able to affect a permanent repair. 10 mins later the job was completed.Great service, many thanks Team.Rob & ChrisTauranga

Poor customer service, very average bikes, especially in comparison to other rentals.But the worst, that ruined our experience accounted for their lack of professionalism. They only had no size small left and recommended renting a XS although I'm 1.65m high.To avoid!

I had a major issue with my bikes front chain ring after it was damage while traveling to Taupo. The folks at Pack and Pedal helped me trouble shoot the issue and even called neighboring bike shops to inquire about a part that they didn’t have in stock at the time. The person helping me (I unfortunately didn’t catch his name) even offered to pull a similar part off of his personal bike so that I could compete in the triathlon the following day. We were able to temporarily fix the component without a replacement and I was able to race the following day. It was clearly a busy time with the race going on so I was incredibly thankful they spent so much time and effort in helping me resolve the issue. Highly recommend this bike shop!

These guys give great advice and also fantastic service. Got new tyres chain and gears. Dropped off and collected next day before lunch. Fantastic
