This place is awful. The receptionist is so rude, unhelpful and uncaring. I’m very surprised she is still there, obviously not been called up on her extremely rude behaviour. I have never come across a receptionist as bad as her! And what gives them the right to swap patients around with the different gps there too.Directors, if you read this - get rid of that receptionist or train her better.

My Mother has been seen by Dr Yasser Kadhum, he is a great doctor and has shown genuine concern and care for my mother while she has been unwell. Her daughters would like to thank him for all his care and support with testing that he has provided for our mother during this difficult time. Thank you again Dr much appreciated.

If I could I would have given zero stars. I have been unhappy with my dr and this practice for a while but kept giving them the benefit of doubt. Today that changed I will no longer waste my time or money here. I went in the consultation room already feeling defeated and vulnerable but he just mad me feel so worthless. Not willing to hear my side, talking over me and kept making me feel like the problem and that I have not at all tried to put the work into get my health under control .I came in as I’m genuinely concerned about my health, I expected to have an examination atleast to check my all over health. But no it felt like I was talking to an emotionless wall me just making everything up. I had to ask the Dr to test me for certain thing…(no not him being concerned and wanting to test me.)I left there feeling drain emotional, traumatised by the lak of care and empathy showen towards me . It take a lot for me to go ask for help as I don’t want to be a burden to others and then when i do I get treated with no compassion or willingness to help.

If you wish to wait 2 weeks for an appointment then go ahead and use them. I for one find that a bad joke. Clearly they have too many patients and their service suffers BADLY from this. Reception need to do a course in customer service as they can be rather abrupt. Not the kind of place you need a bolshy reception person.In the end its all about money over service. Go find a real doctors surgery where old fashioned values still mean something.

I had an appointment, and I still had to wait for 20 mins as the doctor was busy having a gossip with the other staff. This is a ridiculous service, honestly.

All the reviews are pretty spot on. My experience with the receptionists have been great but otherwise, moving to a new health provider seems like too much of an effort to consider moving. Also, I have a long medical history that I can't be bothered updating a new doctor with.

Useless. Call up to make an appointment and they tell me I can't get one for three weeks for a sick baby. Better off taking yourselves to the urgent care on Victoria. Seriously thinking about switching.

Dr Hemi and the Practice manager have allowed absolutley terrible front desk staff, both prior and one unparticular now RUIN your reputation. For months and months you have received many many complaints about the rudeness of the ladies at your front desk, and its obvious for months and months you have failed to address it, even though it ruins your business! its a shame that you didnt address it and realize that your business is only as good as your weakest link. I have given the benefit of doubt before and even contacted you directly to discuss the real issue, yet you still had the offenders sit at the counter and be so rude to customers. My self and family of 7 are moving on next week, after years attending your practice ! and yes we are saddened as it means we dont get the excellent treatment from Dr Hemi when our usual Dr is away, and we dont get the excellent treatment from Tania and her team, but im afraid enough is now enough. You have allowed receptionist staff to ruin a good thing.

I have had mostly positive experiences at Avalon but not the case today. The receptionists are great.Appointment at 2:15 today and didn't get to see the dr till 2:55, by then I had to call for someone to pick up my kids.I do not recommend Dr Haywood, he has made me feel insignificant, not safe to be able to talk about what is going on with my health and frustrated.Be very careful about this dr.He then blamed the receptionists why he had missed me. (whilst walking past me 2 times)
