Blur Eyecare Mt Maunganui

This was the second time I had a similar experience at the Mount store, so thought I would feed this back. The first time I walked in to see if I can fix a pair of sunglasses. The lady behind the desk (brown hair) was cold and standoffish and not helpful. The second time was this weekend, I walked in while the staff (short blonde hair) was serving someone else, but I was ignored the whole time I was there, not greeted not asked if I needed any help, not even a smile! I was there for a good 5 minutes, so then I just walked out. It's disappointing especially during a time when most of us want to support our local businesses.

I had an excellent experience at Blur. Stuart was very thorough and kind with my elderly mum. He explained things clearly and provided useful information moving forward. I knew my 92 year old mum would be very happy returning. The cost was very reasonable and we were not pressured into purchasing glasses. Thank you for both your expertise and kindness.

Felt very uncomfortable here. 1st time in 30yrs of wearing glasses I was taken out into the street in full view of everyone wearing the optitions glasses to see if I could see a sign down the road.

I really rate these guys. Having been a customer of one of the optical chains I was blown away by how much better the service and attention to detail was at Blur. I love the glasses I bought from them and have had heaps of compliments about them. Thanks team.

Super cool optometrist! Love love the high quality frames that are on display here. The Good Gryf glasses are designed by the owner and are awesome. I got a pair of ''Choice As'' (that is the actual name of the frame) sunglasses. Staff were very friendly.

Stu knows his stuff. I've worn glasses for 20 years and he's given me the best ever lenses perfectly suited to my unique eye condition. I can see better than ever. What a legend!
