Beaurepaires Tyre & Battery Shop Te Rapa

Had a puncture done at Beaurepairs for $55.. Budget Tyres quoting $25 for the same job. Should have gone to Budget. What's more, Beaurepairs refused to hand the keys to the car back until I finished an appointment and paid. Partner sitting in a hot car needlessly. Customer service poor, prices high.

I went to this specific shop - first thing they said over phone they were very busy and hesitate to answer my question .When I popped in they looked at my car and said $700 then I asked which Tyre then they said Maxxis, they did not ask me any preference plus they have on top - alignment , rotation and fitting cost.Recommend Tony’s Tyre service Te rapa instead.

2 experiences in last 2 months ( do not miss the edit below)1.They changed my SUV’s tyres and i asked for 2 tyres back which had 4mm and 2mm tread left on them. They loaded the lowest tread cheaper tyres into the boot Instead of higher tread bridgestone which i asked for. I noticed this at home while unloading. The manager on phone told me my bridgestone tyre have been picked up by someone for recycling etc and he cannot do anything but will check the video of tyre change at head office then call me back. Guess what he never called back.2.I asked for 2 front tyre change for my Audi and they qouted for pilot sport 4 tyres. All set, i took my car and reconfirmed with manager regarding price and tyre brand. They changed front tyres , but to a different cheaper brand. I paid 675$ and then went to my car which was parked outside their office, to notice the undue change. To my surprise the manager said these tyres are as good as pilot sport. Basically tried to fool me intentionally. I asked to remove these tyres and refund money. He removed them and said refund will take 2 weeks. I got the money back after 2 weeks but i am never going back to them. Be careful guys.=================Edit: Manager from Beaurepairs contacted me after this review to resolve the issue and apologized for inconvenience. He explained circumstances around the 2 incidents. I accept the apology and appreciate their response. Hence changing the star rating from 1 to 3 now and removing the word fraud from my original review. Regards
