Marama is definitely the HOST with the MOSTEST!! She's so kind, made us feel so comfortable and welcoming. Loved our room, had everything we needed. LOVED the view of the windmill when looking out our window. Bed comfortable. Shower pressure was amazing. Will be back again with the whole Family next time. THANK YOU MARAMA for our beautiful 2 night stay. Te Awahou you sure are a beautiful little town.

Just wanted a cheap clean comfortable no frills place to stay on way to catch the ferry in Wellington and this fitted the bill- the owner is so friendly and went out of her way to make us very welcome- very clean - great shower and quiet to sleep.

It is a very old hotel, wasn't quite what I was expecting. Small room, it was clean and cheap. A bit of noise from the another room. The lady who checked us in was lovely and very helpful.

Friendly service. Even got a bit of history about the place upon booking in. Spacious room with private bathroom ( shower, sink, toilet). Fridge with milk, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery for 2. TV , heater and electric blankets.Great value for money.

It is a nice good enough place. Old building as it seems to be. I stayed there on 23/10/2021. By the loos of it's light switches and all it seemed to me an old school. The lady who served me and checked me in was really nice. She got on very nice and seemed to be really nice. My room had no microwave though I needed one. So she adjusted one for me. They do not cater. So, you need to shop ur food yourself.

My stay at Post Office Hotel will remain as an unforgettable experience. The hotel stay was awesome and the Manager Ma Ra ma had looked after me very well. She even gave me a waiver. The rooms were very clean and nice with 24 hours un interrupted wifi service. May God bless you!

Our late booking was welcomed. Marama is an excellent host and exceeding our expectations. Foxton has so much historic character that this place is a part of the heart.
