Life Pharmacy Hornby

Very disappointed with the pharmacist here, I wanted to ask for some advice I waited as was told she was busy. When she came back she was asked if she could help me and I got a ahhh yea only if she's going to be quick". I understand she was busy but I don't want to be given rushed half arsed attention when it's for the wellbeing of my family. She could have said yes but I am very busy at the moment do you mind waiting a bit long until I am free. Petty if they are so understaffed to be rude like that. I left there and went to stay well pharmacy and even though he was busy he took the time to educate me on the product I needed and confirmed my concern in the product I initially went into buy that was not suitable for me."

Even in the face of the shutdown, you have time enough to be helpful and pleasant. You helped us get the flu shot we needed to feel just that bit safer, when our own Medical Practice let us down. Thank you so much.

It took close to 3 weeks to obtain my correct prescriptions.Throughout all of this the staff in the Hornby store kept blaming my GP as they “did not answer the phone”, however it is not clear if throughout the entire 3-week period the staff tried to call back again.Not only this but my medication was dispensed twice on the same prescription. This seems like a medication error. It was filled once at Bargain Chemist and then again at Life Pharmacy Hornby and then a separate prescription was done again at Life Pharmacy Hornby.When I tried to get my prescription filled somewhere else the staff at Life Pharmacy Hornby - for reasons unknown to me - somehow caught wind of the prescriptions, intercepted them and actually rung the other pharmacies to cancel them. This happened twice. Once at Bargain Chemist Hornby and once at Unichem Bush Inn.They also managed to make a mistake with the Southern Cross claims. The first time I visited it “was not loaded” (fairly sure this has been done before) and the second time “there was nothing available to claim”. This meant I had to do two manual claims meanwhile I was out over $100 for my medications.Don’t go to this pharmacy. It is incompetent.

I found the staff to be amazing helpful and friendly,but there were on several occasions when I would find that,who I can only assume is the owner,the male pharmacist with the glasses, would always comment to another employee when seeing me,to get a reaction out of the employee! I find that judging someone without knowing them, to be extremely prejudice and I have always left the pharmacy feeling anxious and awkward.He clearly despisers anyone beneath him!

The service is always amazing at Hornby. Literally every staff member is smiling and they are always on to it with attending customers. The pharmacists are fantastic at giving advice when needed. There's a great range of products on offer.Hornby is my preferred pharmacy always.

Normally the service is pretty good however today the older lady behind the counter was extremely rude and sarcastic. She asked for my email address so when I started to spell it out to her she raised her hand for me to stop instead of just telling me nicely to slow down and then basicly shoved my pills in a bag and tossed them over the counter. She then also insulted an Asian customer that she was dealing with before me. I've never come across someone so rude, ignorant and racist.Life pharmacy you need to teach your staff about customer service or maybe just hire nicer people cause that behaviour is unacceptable.
