I was very anxious/reluctant to send my son to daycare but then I came across Lollipops Lynfield!! My son started when he turned 3 as a shy and quiet boy. The transition to the centre was seamless and my son was happy and loved his visits. My son has a special bond with Mythile and has great interactions with Sandra, Nadee, Priscilla and most recently Lavita. The staff were very supportive when my son started toilet training and to my utter disbelief within a week, he was toilet trained. The centre manager/staff have great communication about my son’s day and inform me straight away when he is unwell or when an accident happens. I also love that all the meals are prepared onsite are nutritious and halal. My son loves this centre! He has become very confident, outspoken, competent, and independent. He often talks about the other children and staff when he is at home, and this makes me feel comfortable knowing he is happy and learning, thriving, growing, and developing in a safe and nurturing environment. I love the vibe and the warmth I feel from the staff and the manager Layla. I have no qualms about recommending this centre to other anxious parents looking for a daycare for their children. Thanks Lollipops Lynfield!

I have two children at Lollipops Lynfied, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. My 4 year old has attended the centre for 3 years now. I still remember our first tour, Maria (centre admin) took so much time to get to know us and the staff has always been like that. The majority of the staff and head teachers have been there 2-3yrs and that consistency is so amazing for my kids. I can never get them out of there, they want to stay and it takes me 20-30 min to coax them to go home! They learn lots of cool things like water cycles, planets, and more. The extra activities the centre supports are great too like playball, little scientists, dancing/singing with Jitterbubs. I also really appreciate the multi-cultural community of the centre as a mom raising mixed race children. I'd highly reccomend the centre to any parents in the area!

My son recently joined about a month ago at the age of two, I was really nervous that he might take some time to settle in but only after a week of attending he had settled in so well. The teachers in his room are so friendly and always providing me an update on his day. Whenever I drop and pick up my son, the teachers always have activities set out for children and are always interacting with the children that are there. They also prepare amazing food for children which is good for picky eaters. I would highly recommend this early childhood centre to other parents.

My son absolutely loves Lollipops Lynfield! The atmosphere is so calm and the staff are so friendly and caring. The centre have arranged for extra curricular activities such as Playball and Jitterbubs to help our little ones experience more than what a normal daycare would. My son has grown and flourished so much since starting here.

Excellent Centre, caring staff and very happy children! We've always admired the energy and spirit the teachers bring into the homerooms, with each of them developing their own special bond with each child. Our kids have thrived under their guidance and as parents, we have complete trust in them. Layla is lovely and does an amazing job of recruiting the right team and keeping the place in top notch condition, including serving fresh, healthy and micellin star meals daily. Our youngest son has so many stories to share when we pick him up and is thrilled to be able to participate at the centre organised workshops run by lit scientist, playball and jitterbugs music and dance troupe. Our eldest child also attended lollipops Lynfield and remembers his experience fondly and with much love. Highly recommended.

My daughter has been at lollipops Lynfield coming up a year now. She absolutely loves it and is well taken care of.Staff and management are so lovely and are always accommodating, nothing is too much trouble.I really like that they are very inclusive and celebrate all cultural festivals and special days, the teachers go above and beyond with decorations and fun things for the kids to do. They also have extra curricular activities that all children get to participate in, like dance class and play ball, which has helped build my little ones confidence.

Expensive for nothing. Gave them a go as they're the closest despite the fact it is a centre upstairs. They do not CARE for your children. I barely see the staff interact with children. My 2 year old son cut his toungue at the centre & not one staff member told us; we had to find out after a long few days of restless nights with a grumpy 2 year old. The cut looked like a sore then it was clear it was a cut after a day or so. We even took him to the doctors to see if there was any other cause for his unsettledness which included; not eating, hardly sleeping & being miserable despite attempts of cheering him up. I know for a fact it happened at the centre as he's ways either with me or dad and was happy before he went daycare that day. I understand accidents happen but for them to NOT notify us was the problem. Layla(centre managet) called me unhappy about his lack of attendance to which I explained my concerns in regards to the care and safety of my child. She did not seem to really care & basically tried to sweep it under the rug. I almost took my twins to this centre but canceled after 3 visits for transition visit. During the transition visits the admin Maria tried to encourage us to sign the time sheet that our twins had already attended to save her and I paperwork and time (mind you this would have meant they kept over $3000+ instead of rightfully returning to WINS and applying again). Then once I didn't want to and told her I felt it was dishonest: they tried to charge me for the transition visits. Also, they had a power cut and failed to notify us parents until later on (3.30ish pm). One of their staff even said they should've closed the centre as it was unsafe - the elevator was not working obviously and the staircase to enter and leave was pitch black. Keep in mind; this all happened within the space of 1 month. I am writing this as I wasted my time at this centre & don't want anyone else to. Your children will be safer, elsewhere. Thanks

I have two girls at this centre. Joining the centre has been the best decision we made this year. My younger daughter would cry when going home. I have seen two teachers and one reliever who enroll their own children at the centre. There must be something more than just staff discount. There are many things I love this centre as a parent.1. The centre handles children safety as a top priority. We transferred from another centre to here. We have got only 2 barely discernible red marks over 8 month time compared with 5 major incident reports within 6 months with the previous centre. The centre is built in such a way to minimise chances of injury. They even have a window in the bathroom. Teachers assess risks very well. In one situation I saw the chef took away a pointy pencil from an upset child. Their toys and activities have multiple copies, so children rarely need to fight. One teacher warned me of tangling hazard of a handbag my child took to the centre. Another situation warned me of peanut-free environment. My children got sent home three times for sickness, but they do this to all children to ensure a safety and healthy environment. I love how they put safety first.2. I love the food they provide. They give plenty of food, which is very rare for centres in NZ. They almost always have excessive food, giving children as much as they can eat. When I was feeding my younger daughter in the baby room for breakfast, other children got envious and came for the food. The lovely teacher didn’t just tell them off, but offered them bananas and mandarins. The chef cooked gluten free birthday cakes for their birthdays and threw big birthday parties. They prepared everything, so I didn’t need to worry what to bring. They also offer quality food, not raisin and popcorns. They offer proper cheese and crackers, kiwi fruit, grapes, baked custard and muffins. Their chef Vanisa is amazing, cook yummy food that my daughters often eat more at the centre than at home.3. I love how they treat all ethnicities with respect. I feel respected and treated equally. The centre manager and supervisors are super responsible. They all are great enthusiastic teachers. Chris is a real professional and she took care of children personally. She washes her hands very often. Maithili, always busy taking care of children, very empathetic teacher . Ginger taught my daughter drawing, talented at art. Ruby taught children recycling. Sara, a mom of two, always teach children what’s proper manner and read books to children and teach them sing.4. Love how they taught my children. Both my daughters can sing NZ national anthem. My elder daughter can draw very well. They carefully kept my daughters’ drawings. They encouraged each child to develop their own talent. They read books to children and they dance with children. And the big sandpit and the water hose and the big playground. My kids just love everything they provide. Kids never afraid of the teachers, which must mean teachers treated kids with patience. By the end of day, you can tell teachers are all very tired- they have done their best taking care of children.very professional and impressive service. An amazing team. We have had a wonderful and safe year at the centre.
