Sam and AJ are super passionate about sharing their knowledge and do so in an engaging and down-to-earth way. Always love finding out more about the vineyards they choose to support. The space they have created is a pleasure to spend time in - can’t wait for the wine bar to open!

Wonderful little wine shop with an interesting ever-changing curation of wines courtesy of Sam. He really knows his stuff and takes the time you understand what you like before recommending wines. Also very knowledgable on the wine-making techniques, history etc of different houses too so you always learn something when you’re there.

I visited Vine to Table as part of a corporate wine tasting event with Metropol Magazine. Not only was the wine amazing, but Sam was both highly knowledgeable and accommodating to our team. We were all very impressed by the service we received! Vine to Table have a wide range of boutique wines from New Zealand and further afield. On behalf of Metropol, a huge thanks to Sam and AJ!

Whilst the in- house offering seems restricted, this reflects the early and well considered approach to retailing, so well done Sam. The enthusiasm and knowledge base is excellent. Our first purchases are on point, the price point appropriate and the discounting means Vino Fino should be worried! These guys deserve a visit especially in house! Will be back often.

Vine to Table
This place is one of the best new things about Christchurch! The owners are so knowledgeable about every bottle of wine (and winery) in their shop. They always have great suggestions within your budget, and talk about each bottle of wine with depth of knowledge and enthusiasm whether it's a $20 bottle or $50 bottle. They do tastings every Friday from 4 to 7 which is a nice way to try something new that they have hand picked to share, so you know it's going to be delicious.

Nice to have a place to buy wine where informed advice is available. It is often hard to pick wines based on label alone; a shop like this provides a good way to make informed choices, and with most options being easily affordable. Certainly the place to go when choosing a gift wine or getting it right for a gathering with friends.
