The staff were so, so helpful and accomodating. Very informative and even took our clothes out of the drier, folded them and put them in our room! That is outstanding service!

Lakefront Lodge Te Anau
My husband and I stayed 3 nights while we visited the area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The rooms are clean, quite comfortable, well-supplied and quiet. We walked the path along Lake Te Anau to the bird sanctuary and then on to the power station. Beautiful! Nearby restaurants and shops were nice to walk to after a long day. An on-site washer and dryer was a bonus and the NZ morning coffee was unforgettable.

Really nice hotel! The apartments have a separate bedroom and living room as well as a picnic table outside. There’s a kitchenette and it’s pretty spacious. Check-in was easy, and there is parking right outside each room

Great property and location. Walking distance to Main Street for restaurants and groceries. Service and housekeeping were great during our stay. A good base for exploring the surrounding parks and tracks.

Comfortable , clean . Perfectly imperfect. Can't really change anything for the better layout wise. Only thing I might add, you provide a kitchen with cooking facilities. You need to install steam extraction (there is no rangehood) , not put a sign on wall stating occupants must dry clean curtains after heavy cooking.

Lakefront Lodge Te Anau
Amazing stay at Lakefront Lodge! We stayed the night, when we finished the Kepler Track and this place was such a reward. Kim was so accommodating and kind. Our luggage had got lost on the way to New Zealand and she graciously received it from the airline and had it waiting for us in our room. Additionally, the room was so comfortable and she had it nice and warm when we arrived. Best stay in New Zealand! Thank you :)

Lakefront Lodge Te Anau
A wonderful little hotel that I would absolutely recommend. The rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished. The bathroom has a large jacuzzi tub that was amazing after a long day of tramping! Picnic tables are outside of each room so that you can sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Most importantly, the owners are very friendly, warm and welcoming.

Room 9 was terrific except for the mattress could use a replacement or a plywood board. Otherwise nice owners, staff, etc. Laundry on site.

Confortable big units with complete kitchen. We stayed at an unit with bathtub - it was awesome. All units have a small garden with a picnic table and chairs. There is a coin laundry for guests. The location is wonderful, very close to little city center. The staff is gentil and helpful.

Lakefront Lodge Te Anau
The staff here were very warm and inviting. The room was huge and a great place to stay, especially if you are staying more than a couple nights. It's close to the shopping areas and restaurants as an added benefit as well.
