We want to pass on our compliments and thanks to Cheal Consultants for the outstanding work that Julian Thom has done for us over the last couple of years.Our situation is that we have had two jobs being done by Julian in Taupo and Auckland each of which has had its challenging features and tasks across the overall survey work.Julian has been excellent with both the survey work, which is of an extremely high calibre which reflects well on Julian and Cheal’s expertise and competence, and the communication with us and other parties involved. We are lay people and do not fully understand the processes, requirements and intricacies of the survey work and the requirements of councils and government bodies (e.g LIM). Julian has a very special skill in communicating the processes and workings of each project on a very regular basis. He has added a lot of value to our projects. As an example he skilfully spoke and explained to a neighbourthe circumstances, details and requirements of the survey work done at 37 Rainbow Drive after our lawyers and the neighbour's lawyers were unable to resolve the matter over a period of nine months. The result was that the neighbour fully understood the situation and gave their immediate approval to allow us to proceed.I was involved in the financial services industry and above all communication and explanation of transactions to clients’, made in a timely manner, has always been a vitally key part of thejob. Without exception Julian’s regular progress reports and explanations of what has gone on has been the best I have experienced from anyone over my career. This is not an exaggeration. The service not only reflects well on Julian but also on Cheals as a very professional and high quality organisation.
