Konini Lodge

The drive to konini lodge is great.On arrival to this lodge we picked up our keys from the information centre and traveled a short distance down a sealed driveway to the lodge.The lodge has two kitchens back to back which consist of an oven, fridge, hot water califont, pantry and cooking utensils and a microwave. It has 6 bedrooms with single beds/bunks in each room. There is a large open plan dining area in each of the divided dining rooms with enough room to sit 20+ people on either side.There are separate male/female bathrooms with two showers, toilets, hand basins in each.There is a heat pump on the northern and southern end.If travelling to this lodge I would suggest bringing a nice warm sleeping bag, jandles for the bathroom, some rubbish bags, tea and coffee.

In Summer

Took a bunch of school kids there. Has everything you need. Good size kitchen and communal areas. Would use again.

Fantastic place in a beautiful setting, amazing walks. The location was a good way to connect with others in the area. Pretty rough in some ways, but you get what you pay for. Note, you must boil water before drinking.

Tolle Destination, Wahnsinnsblick und ein schöner Vulkan zu den Füssen, hier kann man auch mit einem Wohnmobil übernachten wenn eine Toilette an Bord ist. Ein Info Center ist auch am Parkplatz.

Great fun to come in a group. 6 bunk rooms and heat pumps roaring. Big kitchen perfect for pot luck
