Just visited for the first time with my family. One of the most amazing and interesting shops we’ve ever been in!! Treasures from every place and every era. The owner was great, and we will be back many more times. Highly recommended.

Amazing shop, could wonder around in there forever. Owner was very friendly and patient with me and my friend as we took forever to choose what we wanted.Most of these negative reviews hold no truth and seem to be trolls from the Highschool nearby

Have been in this store multiple times and have loved browsing through all the amazing stuff. Have bought lots from here and find the prices absolutely fine as that is what you pay for antique items. Clearly some people don’t understand why beautiful antiques are priced like that and it shows. Owner has always been lovely and has always provided great knowledge about his items. Will happily be back and am always excited to see what he brings out next. Also must say your replies to some of these reviews are so good. Ridiculous people you have to deal with.

Me and my son Darren used to frequent here back before the days of the island bay cycle lane. Hell I remember coming here with my old mutt Shauna. I remember one time in particular buying an old lawyers lamp the owner claimed to have been owned by the prophet Muhammed himself, the store smelt like boiled eggs in the spring but we didn’t mind. Things were better then, now Darren has a restraining order on me. Shauna is long gone, my lamp has stopped working and this great establishment is closing down.All the best in retirement Monty,Your old mate Phil.

A great shop to explore. The owner has always been welcoming and friendly. He has been extremely helpful in assisting in dealing with my mothers estate even when there is no gain for him. He’s a top man. Cheers Grant

guys the owners fine, i come here regularly and as long as you dont bother him, he wont bother you. plus he has a lot of knowledge if you ask him about anything. really cool shop, if you look around there's a lot of interesting finds.

What an amazing store. My sister and I visited yesterday and could have spent up large however we only had carry on bags for our flight home. I said to the owner that I need to drive to Wellington next time and fill up the car. Love love love places like this, such an eclectic selection of authentic items. We just love rummaging amongst it all, looking for a great find. Could easily spend hours in there. Owner was lovely and interesting to talk to too. Selfishly we hope he can keep this place going until we visit again, there aren’t many places like this around anymore. Good luck
