This is a wonderful place to stay. The setting is stunning with fantastic views over Russell. There was everything we needed for a good holiday, comfortable bed, delicious food and hosts who went that extra mile for us when we had a small problem. The sun shone all the time too!

Soiled toilet. No idea which lodge was which. Dangerous path to bottom an no lights working. Primitive dish washing facilities. Heat pump requires maintenance. Overall not impressed. Good views.

The host was very good at replying to my inquiry and was helpful and easy to communicate with.I felt that the price for the room was expensive for what it had to offer.

Amazing view, and furnished with style. The garden suite, which is very comfortable, with good space for two. Unfortunately the DOWNSIDE is the strong smell of damp, which would stop us returning.

Absolutely loved spending every second here. Everyone was courteous and wonderful. I took a weekend trip with the family, and it was the perfect ways to get out of Auckland and connect back with my hometown. I’ll be staying here again!
