Chips were cold, quiches big and small were were dry and overcooked.Coffee okay though they spilt 1st one on the floor. Wouldn't even give a squirt of sauce on chips. Wouldn't bother going back.

Best cream donuts - no more!!I have been coming to this bakery for 50 years and have always said they have the best cream donuts in Wellington, however I have just had 1 and quite frankly pak and saves are nicer. The mince savoury was soggy like it had been zapped in the microwave and tasted salty. Very disappointing and I also should say that I have bought numerous batten burg cakes over the years and the last one I bought was average at best. Sorry, I won't be going back.

Stopped in to get some lunch.Noticed they had chicken and chips lunch box deals so grabbed one to take away.Chips were hot and tasted nice. But the big concern was the friedChicken.The chicken had been deep fried as per normal and was sitting in under the warmer.Once I took a bite of the chicken I noticed that it was cold.It wasn't cold as if the warmer was not hot enough it was cold as if the chicken had been sitting in a fridge for a period time. This was the case with both peices of chicken.The chicken was completely cold right through as if I was eating chicken from the day before that had been sitting In the fridge all night and then just put under the warmer 10 minutes prior to buying it.Not a pleasant experience.

This was honestly one of the most expensive disappointments. Cold an stale food cabinet with extremely unapproachable staff. Will not! be going back again

This is a casual family friendly place with a warm atmosphere and lots of baked goods to choose from. There is an eat in or takeaway option.The interior is clean with basic decor.We had the steak and pepper pie which was really good, the pastry was light and crispy, steak was perfectly cooked with a good hit of pepper. Unfortunately the coffee was not as good, the mocha was very milky and tasted like a hot chocolate and the long black was a bit bitter.Service was good.

Friendly and efficient, I had a sandwich and cake with a friend who had bacon and eggs. Slight mix up on the cooked breakfast but fantastic service and recovery with bacon supplied free of charge. Recommended

My friend purchased a ham and cheese croissant this morning. He was horribly sick with diarrhea, vomiting, severe headache & hot/ cold sweats. Thanks a lot.

Price to quality ratio was about right. Would recommend to anyone
