I have updated my review again.Having lunch here today, the seafood chowder was fabulous, and a must have.Good to receive this meal when it contained just the right amount of seafood. The chowder liquid is the right texture for my liking, and coupled with the buttery ciabatta toasted bread it was great.My wife had the beer battered snapper with potato chips and salad, she was very happy with it.******New owners, what a change since the new owners have taken over the operation of this cafe this week.Really friendly and delightful people, I am unable to fault this outlet.Superb Supreme" coffee

I read the reviews for this place AFTER we had stopped there for a quick lunch. That lunch was pretty good and ticked all the boxes I had in terms of coffee, food and service.Clearly there are some very polarised views about whether this place is good to visit or not, and admittedly we did go when it did not have many people there, but I wonder how many of the negative reviews about service were from people who turned up at the busiest times the cafe experiences and possibly when half the staff were off with Covid.So I would go back there again and I think that the one star reviews should be treated with a bit of caution.

Terrible service, can’t comment on the food because we were not allowed to order. Not even a croissant, because “You guys arrived in so many”, oh sorry. Will never come back, your loss.

Visited this cafe recently and it is very average. Food - burger with bacon was very average, bun was dry. Smoothie were also average. Location is great. Customer service is OK. We will not visit again though.
