Alumax recently replaced all our single glazed windows for double glazed ones. Alumax were very helpful and did a great job. We are really pleased with our windows. They gave good followup too

Good product, very poor communication.We have had 3 orders of double glazing now from Alumax, and the communication has got steadily worse each time.This last time, we weren't even told that they had arrived let alone been put in, and we were billed for full and final payment. All this, after 2 other other orders placed. We paid the deposit for the windows each time, and the other 2 orders we paid as soon as we received final invoice.After emailing Donna, she did graciously allow the payment to be due within 7 days of installation, as was practice the other 2 times.It wasn't until our 3rd install that we were offered matching catchs on our joinery. We were hoping after an email, and call to Alumax that we would get some response other than a quote for nearly $1000 to change to matching joinery that they installed. But nope.So now we have spent tens of thousands of dollars with Alumax , to have ugly black catchs on white windows on half our install, and matching catchs on the rest.We have paid in full for the windows as soon as they were in, as we had agreed to this. But still waiting to speak with Shane for over a month now about our disappointing catchs.We went through Alumax deliberately as we believe in supporting local business where able. The windows themselves have made a fantastic difference to our home, but the service and communication has been extremely dissapointing.

Great affordable company to deal with, they supplied a bunch of windows, french & sliding doors. Very happy with product and the supply was quicker than expected and they even delivered all the way to Waiheke Island!
