a delightful church in a lovely rural area of nz. the wooden interior makes it very peaceful with soft light coming in through the slim windows. the headlights are beautiful

Visited St Mary’s in early spring which was a great idea. There were lambs. This Frederick de Jersey Clere church is the most rural church I’ve ever seen. It’s not in the middle of a little town or even on the edge of a little town. It’s on a farm surrounded by other farms surrounding farms that might have a little village nearby. It was totally worth the visit. We sat and had lunch on the front lawn and appreciated the flowers and new life that was coming up.
