Been a loyal customer since I first moved to Auckland 4 years ago. Cameron is really easy to deal with and keeps in touch while works are being undertaken to keep you in the loop so there are no surprises.

These guys were great, brought in a golf with a fairly random and non-descript issue and they diagnosed and fixed very quickly (< 1.5 hrs labour). Deffinatly seem to know what they are doing and very reasonable on labour and parts. They were solid on comms and called before doing anything that would cost. Reccomend this place

I brought my car in for a diagnosis. Picked it up the next day and was given a diagnosis that would result in hundreds/thousands in repair costs. I took my car to the dealership for a second opinion and they diagnosed that my car just needed a software update, proceeded with the update and then my issue was completely resolved. I emailed Brodie European to notify that they misdiagnosed and could’ve caused me a large amount of money in repairs. I requested that they do the right thing and refund my diagnostic cost as their diagnosis was completely incorrect. I haven’t heard back which is why i’m now writing this review - just shows what kind of business they’re running. Wouldn’t recommend them to friends or family. Cheers

I have tried a couple of VW service specialist (apart from the VW dealerships) and always feel a little ripped off or either they did not get the job done like the dealerships or lacking professionalism. The service I received from Brodie European, both Cameron and his staff was exceptional with friendly informative communication on what is wrong and what is required. The pricing was also competitive with other non-VW agents. Can recommend Brodie European.

I took my newly purchased 2014 TSI to Brodie European, upon recommendation from a friend. I wanted a good service as the previous owner hadn't done one, and I was concerned about the car shuddering and idling low, as well as having a persistent rattle. After a full day with the car they said they didn't pick up on any of these issues and offered to keep it overnight to run more checks. After another day, still nothing and they said the car was supposed to run like this. The bill came to a whopping $1200, virtually just for a basic service (no replacement parts etc). I took the car to another mechanic who identified straight away that the shudder was because the car needed a whole new clutch. $3,500 later.....not impressed. And they found the rattle straight away. The Brodie European mechanics were dismissive and exorbitantly expensive. Definitely won't be coming back.
