Worst customer service experience. I tried engaging with both of the sales people. I stood at the counter waiting for them to serve me… nothing. Ignored. Left the store.

Superb book store with a difference. Wonderful range of quilting books for those so inclined. Also carries wool felt embroidery thread patterns kits and more.Cards, paper, and beautiful books on wide range of subjects.A must visit .

I like this shop. I usually visit to buy my supplies for felting. Last time I bought an interesting guide book about Istanbul, quite off the beaten track. I will try this very soon!!!

A wee gem parked up in Cuba Street. My go to bookstore for NZ books and unusual titles. Great greeting card selection. Yes they are known for craft books primarily (read quilting etc) BUT do have a look for other great categories (food/cooking, NZ history and flora/fauna, fiction etc).

Creative store with a lovely owner, full of all the books to do with creativity you could want! They get new books often and can order in what you need.

Love this bookstore. Anne the owner very welcoming and helpful and a fantastic selection of books and mags. A wee gem in Wellington owner operated a delightful experience everytime.

With Kirkcaldie and Stains long gone in the city and David Jones never really filling the gap while it lasted in terms of quality cards, specialist and unusual note book and writing paper, Minerva has in my opinion emerged as the premium boutique store to go in the city when wanting to choose from a stunning range of beautiful, refined and unusual non-mainstream cards, notebooks and writing papers. They also have a wide array of calanders, jigsaw puzzles, books, children's picture books and high end stationery items suitable as gifts sourced from small publishers and artists from around the world. Not that I am a quilter but Minerva seems to be the Mecca in Wellington for specialty textile books and quilting kits. Located in upper Cuba opposite Wellington Seamarket, just off the motorway, street parking is reasonably good. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. All in all a great store to visit for the discerning buyer.
