Easy in.. easy out

Ended up here by mistake after travelling up from the Bay for an event at the Aotea Centre (just around the corner), and missing my exit off the motorway ha! But what a great mistake it was, because there were heaps of carparks available (after 6) and the cost of $12 (for Auckland CBD) is on par with other options. Importantly: The exit out of the CBD after the event was relatively easy too. Some event goers have complained of the wait while trying to exit out of the Civic Carpark. Being where it is, it’s close to bars, eateries also. Well happy with parking here and will probably park here again for future events…unless I miss the exit of course!

There are no public electric car charging spots as advertised (they're all used by cityhop). Disappointing as this was a core reason I chose it.

Overstayed my pre booked day parking by less than an hour after being delayed at work and was charged an additional full day's rate. Frustrating as for the same pre booked day rate I could have selected an exit time many hours later and just left early for no extra charge, or just turned up taken the earlybird option which is the same rate. It seems you get penalised for booking with an incorrect exit time when it would be easily facilitated with the other options for the same price.

Really tight and a pain to get in to to get your car but all good

+ Conventient location+ Big- Not cheap- Narrow spaces- Free complementary EV charging" is a joke. There is ONE Tesla destination charger. There are also 4 other chargers but these are reserved for some car sharing service and were in use so I was unable to charge at all. Don't go here if you expect to charge
