Love love loved the food, wine & service. I tad bit disappointed to sit outside as it felt like being on the sidewalk but it didn't change the fact that this restaurant is top notch on food & service. Best to book ahead for a table inside. Our 3rd visit here & still top of the list of fav Italian restaurants in Auckland

Portofino Mission Bay was good without being great.Nice fettuccini con pollo which was the pick of the bunch, we also had a pesto pizza bread to start which was tasty.I feel like you would always get a very reliable, consistent meal here.James Ashwin

Thank you to the team at Portofino Mission Bay for helping us celebrate a special family birthday. We had amazing service and delicious food, catering well for the vegetarians in the group. We would highly recommend for a delicious family dinner on a cold winter's night.

Despite the fact that this Portofino is right by Mission Bay, much of the seafood items on the menu use frozen ingredients, and melons are always missing, which means the prosciutti dishes are never complete.The food may be mediocre, especially for the price points, but Mission Bay's Portofino features wonderful staff who are amicable and knowledgeable. We always feel welcome here.

This place is a great place for any occasion.Birthdays, anniversaries etc.The food is great and the service was nice too.The price is quite reasonable and can get an Italian vibe.Would be nice if their menu was online too

I see my review from December has been removed, so I will just post it again.We wanted to have lunch for 8 people, and as we sat down, one of the staff members made a big scene about my 11 year old daughter bringing in a Frappuccino bought from Starbucks. The lady was really rude in the way she handled the matter. We decided to leave rather than making a big deal about it and was told that it would be better if we leave and that they do not need the money we would spend with them. I will not recommend this restaurant as a friendly family restaurant and will definitely never set foot in there again.Horrible experience

Good food and good vibe. Virgin margarita was okay but the cannelloni ricotta e spinaci was my favorite - cheesy and not overpowering. Salmon pasta and the seafood risotto was good too.

Delicious food. Delicious dessert. Amazing service. The owners are such lovely people. Always feel welcomed and always have a table for me ;) a must go restaurant in Mission Bay.

On top of the already delicious food, and atmosphere, the service from the attendee Aman, was second to none. He was the perfect amount of attendance, customer interaction and had some great banter! Thank you Aman for taking a photo of my family and I - you really went the extra mile this evening. All the best!!! Will be back :)
