UP Surf Coaching Raglan
I really enjoyed the course. Andrew was the man and a good coach. He shared some great tips on how to improve as a novice surfer. Also, the weather and my other class mates Soph and Dave were super nice and we all encouraged each other throughout the 3 days.I would definitely recommend this course to any beginners and novice surfers out there.

We had a great lesson with Andrew who is not only a super nice guy but also gives some really great tips! He took the time to watch us all individually catch our waves and give us all personalized feedback to help improve our surfing. 10/10 would recommend!

Completed the three day beginners surfing course and highly recommend to all. Andrew is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He provides exceptional tips that make a big difference. He was flexible when weather impacted day 3, simply shifting the day to another to suit. A lot of fun!

UP Surf Coaching Raglan
The 3 day course was awesome, I was pleasantly surprised with how I progressed over the three days to riding some unbroken waves. I would recommend this to anyone looking to learn to surf or advance from some basic skills as Andrew is such a good teacher. Having struggled with my pop up technique by myself, in the first 20 minutes of the lesson Andrew gave a very logical, clear explanation of how to do it, it sort of blew me away at how easy it was after that. I feel really confident now to head out around my home town and practice - thanks Andrew!

Outstanding course. Andrew's coaching style is personalised and because his programme format is structured around a small group (there were only 5 in our group), he is able to provide individual feedback which is gold. Despite challenging conditions we all progressed and came away with a great learners toolkit. I'd definitely return to take my surfing to the next stage. Highly recommended.

UP Surf Coaching Raglan
Andrew is an awesome coach and helped me improve 100%. He was able to continously improve my technique and wave selections and by day 3 I was catching almost every wave I attempted and felt in control of the direction of the board. The smaller classes means you get more one on one coaching and can improve quicker. I would definitely recommend and I will be back for more coaching!

Highly recommend UP Surf Coaching! Andrew provides clear, hands on instruction with individualized tips that made it easy to progress even in just 3 days. He also offered great info after the course about boards, beaches, and learning to read conditions. The whole experience was fun, relaxed, and super informative. Thanks Andrew!

I did the 3 day beginners course with my brother and we really enjoyed it! Was great to learn proper techniques and tips on how to progress our surfing further, Andrew is a great teacher.Raglan is beautiful too - would definitely recommend.
