Hi there, this review is for Irina (sorry if I spelled her name incorrectly) from the Hamilton Branch Reconnection Team.She helped us reconnect the power to our new place almost 6pm on the 25th July, and I can sense from her tone that she put care and gave extra effort. We did get the power back on just before night falls.We appreciate this very much, cause winter night can be unbearable without heater. I switched to Mercury over two months ago but I haven't had a bill yet. I messaged last week and they said I would get one on the 3rd July (yesterday) but nothing yet. No surprises there.

Ever wonder why energy costs so much?, a country of 4M having 20+ retailers all with their respective marketing, IT, call centres, HR, office leases and bloated management all feathering their own careers when complicating something as simple as producing energy and billing for it. Every retailer in NZ deserve 0 stars. Absolute selfcentred scum run by career centred narcissists looking to line their pockets of stugglimg kiwis.

Would not recommend this company to use for power at all. We have been waiting on hold for over 3 hours to get power reconnected and keep getting transferred to different people. Awful service

Hi Guys I'm a maths and science graduate and according to what I learned you can't sell energy only power. You can only measure customers energy consumed. The customer uses energy with their appliances. The customer owns everything after the meter box so you cannot claim to produce energy as the customer consumes kilowatts over their time and appliances to consume energy which belongs to the customer once passing the meter. A car manufacturer advertises the car or appliance they sell as they built it.
