Stayed a night...placed was very clean and tidy.We were welcomed by our hostess and shown all the facilities available. Plenty of tea and coffee making places...we used the TV lounge, books on the table were awesome. Love the use of automated lighting around the place. Bed room and bathroom top notch. Enjoyed my stay.

We had a lovely stay in the Lord Clyde Hotel and recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a heritage building. The rooms are new and well set up, and the service excellent. Victoria was so helpful and accommodating. Thanks for a wonderful couple of nights.

Beautifully restored heritage building with great modern rooms,all well appointed and serviced. The bed was very comfortable and shower was good pressure.We also had a central heating radiator to keep the room and property toasty warm throughout which is very rare in New Zealand and gained an extra star because of it.(Competing Hoteliers take note). Breakfast was buffet style and adequate.The lounge was fantastic with lots of comfortable chairs and reading material and nice fireplace.I will certainly be recommending this place to friends and colleagues and it's well worth the stay.

Truly a luxurious stay. Our room and the downstairs lounge were both lovely - beautifully furnished and very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and the gorgeous table settings just added to it! Recommend to everyone.

What a lovely B & B to stay at. Victoria was the lovliest host. The rooms were so beautifully furnished, and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast next morning was delicious. Thank you for a special night at The Lord.
