The Cube

The cube is an amazing hall of residence, unlike any other. I think the fact that residents have to cook for themselves is both better financially, but it also teaches the residents to provide for themselves and gain responsibilities. I lived here in 2018 and for the most part, it was very enjoyable. The staff are all friendly, the views from the higher floors are amazing, the common areas are kept clean, and it's overall a safe space. It's really up to chance if you get roomed with good people, but if you really need to escape your flatmates, the location of the hall is in a good enough area that if you need to escape, you're close enough to anywhere you want to go.

Nice setup

My friends and I were kicked out for standing up for ourselves. The Massey university room attendants allowed my flatmates at the cube to bully myself and my friends for months, we were absolutely traumatised by the situation and then when we approached the head of hall regarding the situation we were absolutely disregarded and they shut us down completely, i felt completely disregarded and this is completely unnacceptable for a university such as massey. Afte being shut down i tried to stand up for myself and approached my billy's but was instead kicked out. DONT EVER GO HERE IT IS HORRIBLE
