Disappointed they do not do breakfast for guests? A quiet motel but, hard to locate as no decent signage at night?

This property was like a school dormitory. The management was terrible to deal with and admitted that many complaints are made and he didn’t care. No refund as he used the cancellation policy to refuse any refund. He told me to do a bad review because no one reads them anywayShocking

Helpful staff, except no bus passes available at the nearby dairy. Nice and quick from and to the airport.

I checked in real late. The guy in charge was a s absolutely helpful. The rooms were luke warm. The shower had pressure. The car park was literally right outside my door. And it was quite and peaceful. thank for the discount especially. Your on my Christmas list bro.

Good for a night before flying out. Rooms warm and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the family room. It has its own shower however the drain was blocked and after a minute it was overflowing. One of the beds sheets had small holes while another bed had stains . They sheet were clean but the bedcovers were not. Will say staff were helpful and friendly.

Due to a family bereavement, we had to make urgent travel arrangements to attend the funeral in China. As expected, airfares are exorbitant, connections are bad, and we had to stay overnight in Auckland for transit. A couple of days before the trip, China changed its border policy and our flights were changed. We tried to get a refund for the booking but it was already past their free cancellation date. We accepted that but what shocked me more was that they charged us a fee for paying with credit card - actually they just deducted straight from our credit card without informing us that they are imposing a credit card transaction fee; I saw the additional amount and asked for clarification, which was when they told us about the transaction fee. This is the first time in my life (being a frequent flyer) that a hotel/motel charges a transaction fee for using a credit card, and it was not indicated anywhere on the booking regarding such a policy. This establishment should not be in the hospitality business and definitely does not represent, in any way, the Kiwi hospitality spirit. I wouldn't give them even 1-star but it is required to complete the review.

Appreciated the shuttle service, the neighborhood is quiet but the rooms are quite a bit overpriced.

Because the manager I dealt with was very unhelpful. I left my car for 2 weeks while in Australia. Had to pay 7days so no free parking after first 5 days. Had issues contacting manager on my return due to my phone not working, an airport official called the manager on his phone to tell him where I would be. When he arrived he continued to yell at me that I was costing him money and in the wrong place even though he had been told why. Totally a very rude man, will not stay at Westney Lodge again. They put me in an old boarding house where I had to pay extra for my own bathroom. No toiletries supplied. People banging doors all night. Only positive was a clean bed. Not recommended !!
