Every employee that I interacted with was very nice, but also didn’t seem to know what was going on. I got sat at a table, and had to wait 5-10 minutes for a menu which I found strange. The pizza was okay, but lacking flavor, on a positive note it came very quickly. When I asked to get the rest packed up so I could leave the server took it away and forgot to bring it back, so I had to wait till I could get their attention and ask for it. Everyone working seemed fairly young, so probably just growing pains.

My nieces and I used to come to Archie's many years ago. Recently we returned to Auckland and had our first meal at Archie's. What a nice surprise! Archie hasn't changed a bit, same menu & great hospitality. We ordered Spaghetti Tutto Mare, Seafood Salad and Pollo e Pesto Pizza. All were very tasty, the seafood was very fresh & juicy, and of good quality (same as many years ago). We enjoyed it so much. We will come back for more, absolutely.

Came here a few times before and I remember that it was excellent. We would always order the fettuccine tutto mare and their seafood salad and price was below $20 for each.Today we went back to try after 2 years, we ordered the fettuccine again and also the pepperoni, olive and anchovies pizza. The pizza was very soggy and wet, felt like was not done enough. The pasta was just very average tasting. The price has also increased to $24 each dish. Service was also just ok, they didn't refill water till the end.Dropping rating from 5 to 3.

We came on a super busy day but the staff were all super friendly and the food was DELICIOUS! The prices were very reasonable especially given the portion sizes. Yum!

Great food, very good portion, good service (great staff and fast on serving the food), good atmosphere, even though am a bit surprised that there were a lot of people on the week night.Highly recommended!

This restaurant is outstanding - it was so good remember from years earlier when visiting AKL. The booking process seamless, fabulous team really busy ( no surprise there) yet everyone warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, very generous servings and presented well. I would and have return and recommend 10/10!

What a delightful restaurant!Atmosphere is lovely, staff are super helpful, friendly and attentive; even when the place is packed.Food is incredible! So tasty, huge portions, amazing range ro choose from.

Good consistent food. It’s been years since we’ve been here…..nothing has changed. Had the chicken pesto pizza, salmon pizza, seafood pasta and beef salad. Worth a visit.

Arrived quite late but the kitchen was still open! Absolutely delicious ricotta filled tortelloni in creamy lemon suave with mushrooms. My workmate had the eye fillet and said it was cooked beautifully.Definitely recommend. Friendly, busy atmosphere (for a Monday night), it was buzzing. Located across from our motel so very handy.
