Powderkeg Restaurant and Bar
This was our second time stay, both of 2 nights' duration. We love it. Great bedrooms, heated indoor pool. There are lots of adventure things to do with a local pick up drop off service. The breakfast are very very good with a huge tasty selection. The interior of the hotel is all exposed timber very incharnting. Always clean and friendly helpful service.

Can of Smirnoff was $10.00 and a can of rum and coke $10.00 they dont sell bottles. Liked my burger didn't like the BBQ sauce on it beef Pattie was delish though Pork Ribs were $33.00 not happy with that either. My son ordered chicken and mango pizza he liked that. Was a bit disappointed tried not going back there.

Powderkeg Restaurant and Bar
My husband and I stopped at Powderkeg Restaurant and Bar for a lunch. We ordered Seasoned wedges with cheese, bacon, sour cream and chilli, and Teriyaki free range chicken, slaw and Japanese mayo burger. The food was so delicious. The flavours of the burger were different and amazing. Highly recommend.

Stopped by on the last weekend of the season and the bar was still quite busy, with no table available in the designated dining area. I ended up opting for buying at the bar and picking a place somewhere and even then the options were fairly limited.Food was alright. I had the fishcakes and the pork belly. Both were tasty in their own right. Just found that the fishcakes were a tad salty. I was expecting a bit more from the S'more dessert but it was just marshmallows melted over chocolate. Think I would have enjoyed it more if the cracker was harder since it was really soft and quite crumbly.The staff was really friendly and helpful. Even though they were busy they were able to serve desserts after the mains, although there was a bit of a wait. I would probably come back for the food but probably a different dessert.

Powderkeg Restaurant and Bar
Staff are terrible and really unprofessional. Acidentally vaped inside and instead of giving me a warning they manhandled me and kicked me out even after apoligising and causing no harm. Was really unfair as I brought a ticket to go to the after party here after Mardi Gras and I had brought 2 drinks which they just tipped out. I do not reccomend this place unless you want to be treated poorly by the staff and the Indian manager who are just power hungry. They don't care about the quality of service, just money.

Powderkeg Restaurant and Bar
Had dinner and drinks here on two consecutive nights. The service was excellent and the food was good, well prepared and presented. There is a limited menu and mainly caters for a fast food style but if you accept this, it's a great place to go. Selection of beers and wine is great and overall a fun place to be in. Highly recommended this a place to eat and drink.

Came in day after New Year’s for a post hike dinner. Restaurant seemed slammed with a lot of people waiting for food. Our table of 4 waited more than 45 minutes to get our food and the bar ran out of several cocktails and RTD ciders that we tried to order. Food was fairly good when it arrived (Ravioli, Eye Fillet with Gnocchi, and Ribs), service was just slow. Would have been great if they’d let us know when we first sat down that there was a long wait to get food so we could have ordered some appetizers to munch on while we waited.

Food was good. Reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. We went during the busy time 18.30-20.00. Floor staff did their best during that time. Order was done quickly and food came out quickly as well. Wasn't too happy with the bar, waited a long time, was clearly the only ones waiting for a period, then another patron came up to the bar and was served first. So gave up, but then the floor staff took our drink order, so all good .Would Def recommend and would return if back in the area.
