The pottery studio

Great experience for my daughter in the school holidays and very affordable. Lovely staff and just a great experience. Would highly recommend them.

My son and I went to try out pottery. I knew nothing about it but got guided and assisted. It was a fun few hours. Very relaxing. The bowl will be fired and glazed before its complete.

I loved the experience. As a novice working with clay, the instructor demonstrated the process and it was easy to follow.

What an awesome thing and place to visit. We had so much fun expressing our lack of artistic abilities. Turned out I have some. Thanks lily for a fun time.

Went for a hen’s do and had the best time while in studio.I paid for our group and got told that the original transaction didn’t work, so did it again, no questions asked.We ended up getting double charged (which was clearly just an accident). I then sent proof 2 days after, and also asked for 3 of the 5 pieces to be couriered as we live in the South Island, which could be deducted from the amount to be refunded.Not only did my pieces turn up smashed (only wrapped in one piece of newspaper and 1 piece of deflated bubble wrap), but I have been trying to get a refund of the doubled up amount (over $200) for 2 months, with no action.I honestly hate leaving bad reviews, because we did thoroughly enjoy our time at the studio. But we are really disappointed they offer a shipping service when product is not packaged anywhere near enough (I receive books with more protective packaging than that), and super slow response on getting a refund, putting me out of pocket)

Went to the pottery studio where the very lovely and friendly Penny advised us on how to paint our ceramic Easter eggs. We saw the kiln and there was loads of space to work and lots of gorgeous ceramic paints to choose from. Anyone can rock up create and go. There's wine and ceramic nights amd kids love the weekend and daytime workshops they run during school holidays. Awesome place go check it out!

Bowl arrived broken due to bad packing. After contacting them I was met yet again with incompetence, plus an extra dose of rudeness.
