Great and friendly staff. Interesting cocktails. Make sure to make reservations especially on the weekends and if these is a rugby match going on. There are also a lot of wedding receptions at the separate out door area.

Really nice new spot in Morningside as part of a bigger complex of restaurants and eateries.Imagine it would be great for watching games and will be back to do that.Nice range of beer on tap and cocktail specials.We were there around midday on a Saturday and wasn’t too busy.Food was reasonably quick and well presented. Portion size was very good.Food was generally good but did lack a little bit of punch in any of the flavors.We had Duck pancakes, Prawns, Chicken Tacos & Truffled Roasties. Roasties were the best.Staff, while not too many on were attentive.Like most new places this will grow into its own and be a great spot.

The place had just opened when our group came. It took a while before someone came to check if we are hungry after the first drinks. Food came more or less at the same time, but we kept on finishing our drinks and couldn’t catch the eye of anyone for more.Our orders kept coming via different waiters, so we would ask for something from one and then having to check on it with another later who didn’t know about it.I had the beef burger - burger was a bit dry, and not much sauce in the burger to make up for it. Friends ordered the fish and chips which looked really good. We topped up with some more “mashies” for the table but took ages to get them, and got them a few minutes before the deadline we were told in the beginning to be leaving as they apparently had some show on for which had to pay $99. Felt rushed even tho we were there for 3 hours.Did not see any entertainment for young kids so no good for a family.Overall - an average experience.

Popped in for a going away drink. Nice bar with good seating and a pretty cool vibe. Would have been nice to have a wider variety of beers on tap. Enjoyed the Roku gin n tonic!

Its a nice pub. Atmosphere and staff very nice. Unfortunately the steak I had was extremely fatty. I would say 40% fat. 2 pieces, and I got only a few bites of meat out.

We actually made a little detour to this place after seeing the inside deco, very very nice boujee pub vibes. The Tavern Smash was soooooo good! And the Jackfruit Tacos tasted bangin too. I just think they added a tad bit too much oil in the tacos. Food did take 30 minutes to come out but all the food came out at once and drinks were served first. Prices were nice compared to the inflation nowadays. It's a nice hearty autumn Vibe, do come here and show some love.

Warm, vibrant, family friendly bar. Recently had my hubbies 40th celebration and the staff were amazing. Claire and Julian were so accommodating and the food and drink were on point! Thank you for making our night a memorable occasion. A good variety to suit everyone. I recommend this place to all!!

We went in for a late lunch over the long weekend. Loved the place, super friendly staff with great recommendations.My husband and I had a pizza and a few sides to share, along with a couple of beves. The food is super tasty, fresh and great value for money.I would 10/10 recommend this place for a few drinks and food with family, friends or colleagues.
