Good burgers, nice staff. The motobites are a bitt tasteless and dry. The thickshakes are really small and nothing to special.

I would prefer to give zero stars!Waited for ages for our order and then told they had given it out… offered us a refund?? We were hungry so I asked for the order to be filled. Place was quiet so we figured they had forgotten. Order finally came and was wrong and so badly made that we were shocked!! Buns wet with beetroot juice, flies everywhere in the kitchen, so much sauce on the burgers that they could not be held… almost like the staff did as a joke. Staff on their phones - sorry but this used to be a great place - have been to this BF heaps… staff have zero interest in your restaurant. Unlikely to ever be back as this is an absolute joke and appalling for the brand.

We have recently moved to Taupo and been to the Burger Fuel in Taupo twice and will likely never go back as the customer service is appalling!First visit we placed an online order, went in and waited at the counter being completely ignored by all the staff. I eventually interrupted one and told him we had an online order that was sitting on the counter going cold.Second visit we again placed an online order. My husband went in and waited at the online order counter. The staff saw him walk in but ignored him. The staff served 4 other customers that came in after my husband. He then moved to the front counter and was still ignored so interrupted a staff member to tell him he had an online order to pick up. Once again was sitting going cold. Staff did not apologise and appeared to be laughing about it.We have never had such bad customer service at any other Burger Fuel branch, just the Taupo one. The staff need to go or need some serious training, otherwise customers will go elsewhere.

Went for breakfast, they couldn't make 1/2 the menu but we decided to try what they had anyway. The one guy that was working made another person wait until he finished doing something with the milkshake machine beforetaking his order. The other guy walked out after 10 minutes which didn't seem to bother the employee.We got our food take away. We couldn't even eat our burgers the bacon was burnt to a crisp & we got clumps of mustard through it which was un appetizing. We have been here & other burger fuels before & enjoyed it, maybe it was just a bad day.

Nice little burgerfuel with the upstairs seating area being the main attraction to this place. Food was very delicious hot and fresh, unfortunately I can only give an overall 4 because the the gentleman at the till, was just very bland and unfortunately seemed like he didn't want to be there other than that awesome.

Ordered a veg burger tonight and after 10 mins was told we have run out of veg burgers could have been told immediately the other I ordered was incredibly small for the $11.90 I paid for it. She gave me my money back after trying to short change me by $1 I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and I won't be coming back

It was not a very good experience. Cooking Staff forgot about our order. Started to clean up the stove. This happened because they were not given the order slip. The young boy got distracted by the young chicks he was serving after us.25 minutes later, when I asked about it, the guy taking orders was unsure and said he was sorry about it.We got served our order 40 minutes later.Not good for business practice. Expected better from Burger Fuel.

Yummi but my burger was just slapped together. You can tell there was no love in it. For the price you pay, I deserve better
